Selasar Sunaryo Art Space ( SSAS ) is a nonprofit organization of space and aims to support the development of the practice and study of art and visual culture in Indonesia. Founded in 1998 by Sunaryo.

With guidance and support from the Foundation Selasar Sunaryo , SSAS main focus is on the implementation of programs of ;

• Contemporary art;
• Through exhibitions;
• Discuss;
• Residencies and;
• Workshops.

As a cultural center, SSAS organize activities related to other artistic disciplines such as;

• Design;
• Crafts;
• Performing arts;
• Literature;
• Architecture, and so forth.

In addition to the permanent collection display , SSAS also organizes exhibitions of single or joint featuring works by young and senior artists, from Indonesia and overseas.

All kinds of activities in SSAS - include;

• Children's programs;
• Music concerts;
• Theater performances;
• Film screenings;
• Readings;
• Lectures and other events.

Designed based on the direction of the Curatorial Advisory Council consisting of academics, critics and art practitioners. SSAS also take part in a web of international contemporary art in cooperation with various institutions abroad.
